Parking Sensors Empty Parking Sensors

Has anyone fitted rear parking sensors? If so, is it much of a job? Wife is concerned when she is reversing as confused what the camera is showing. I have fitted a set before, with no problems, but not to one of these motorhomes.

Dbvwt is the person to ask. He was certainly investigating it not that long ago, see link below.

We had them fitted not long after we'd bought the Pollensa, after Mrs B scraped a corner of the rear bumper on a low bollard - we have no camera.  Got Conrad Anderson in Birmingham to fit them when they were fitting the cruise control.  They do sell kits for DIY fitting if you wanted to do that yourself.

After reading Dbvwt's excellent description of how he fitted his Parking Sensors, I have
ordered a set from Hawk's accessories. Lets hope it really is as easy as it sounds!
