Access to Water Pump
My apologies if this has been covered before but I have a potential problem with my A/S Duetto. It is a 2002 model based on a Mk 6 Transit. Judging by the noise, the water pump is located under the kitchen sink at the back of the locker. Now perhaps I might be looking for trouble as the pump seems OK at the moment, but if the pump does give up the ghost how on earth do I access it? The only conclusion I come to is that the entire sink unit need to be removed, surely this is not the case. I am sure someone has had this problem so I would appreciate your thoughts

Either false floor or false back to cupboard.

Re: Access to Water Pump
Hi
My van’s older than yours but I think the layout is similar. A local forum member bought a van similar to yours round to me to fix the mains trip a few years ago (still owes me the cost of the RCD if he’s still about and reading this) and the layout was practically identical to mine.
Under the cooker you will probably find that the panel at the back is secured by a few screws. They sink into the covering material so are not obvious.
Remove the panel and you’ll have easy access to the pump (hopefully).
