Re: Driving in lockdown
Kiosks on Hayling Seafront have been open throughout lockdown and have been very busy with public. Police have been keeping a lookout and as far as it's known have been happy with people keeping their distance.steamdrivenandy wrote:I would've thought that kiosks on seafronts would earn themselves a hefty fine if they opened before lockdown ends.
From remarks on forums and friends and dealership opening plans it's going to be pretty busy from the 12th itself and the weekend of 17th/18th is going to be daft.
I think Havant Council are planning for a busy summer, parking rates are going up, yearly passes up, daily Motorhome will now cost you £10!
and of course no over night parking. Also increased parking charge time from 8-6 to 6am-10pm.
Local residents very upset, I think they will reflect this in the coming elections in May.
