Swivelling the front seats
Hopefully a straightforward question.
When swivelling the front seats should you sit on them or not to rotate them ?

Re: Swivelling the front seats
My chosen method is to actually open the appropriate cab door and rotate it from outside the motorhome (I also drop the steering wheel down) This way means you can man manoeuvre the seat past both the steering wheel and the handbrake.
Don’t think there’s any reason why you shouldn’t sit on them I just find it easier my way.
As we tend to use the two single beds I lower the seat squab to the same height as the beds.

Thanks Terry,
Sounds like a good idea doing it from the outside and dropping the steering wheel.
The main reason I asked the question was due to the awkwardness of trying to swivel the seats from inside the motorhome.

It's definitely easier from outside but no fun in the rain.

Thanks Tinwheeler,
Just means we'll have to sit facing the windscreen in wet weather....or give the manager a brolly before sending her out !

I can't move mine at all if I'm sitting on it, it's stiff as anything.
The seats in my old van moved quite easily with me perched on top, I'm sure they forgot to lube these ones!

Re: Swivelling the front seats
It's the reverse for me. I find it much easier to start the swivelling she sitting on the seat, turn it about 30 to 45 degrees and then move across to the other front seat.
