Corrinium Hab Door Lock Issue
I am unable to lock the hab door using the key fob button. After several pushes and slamming of the door, it locks. The cab front door lock ok. Have changed the battery in the key fob and still the same. Any ideas please.

Had a similar problem with my 2017 Nuevo EK
When the door is open you will see some contacts near the hinge side of the door, give then a good clean with isopropyl or switch cleaner.
I suggest you not not use WD 40
Hope it helps

If the door has those contacts Terry??
Ours has a bundle of wires that enter the door on the hinge side, which would be a wonderful idea if the sheathing didn't keep splitting due to the constant flexing.
One day I'll pull everything apart and renew it with some hospital grade polythene tubing.
Probably!

Following a reference on the Forum to self-amalgamating tape (of which I'd not hitherto heard) I removed the old plastic insulating tape from those wires to which Gromit refers, and wrapped them tightly with the self-amalgamating tape. So far so good, and certainly looks better.
But it's a lousy arrangement....

Hi Gromit
I think a 2019 AS will be the three studs which superseded the bundle of cables.

My self amalgamating tape has split - much to my surprise!
It was applied carefully and correctly, stretching the tape to nearly three times its original length, and on a warm day. I didn't expect to have to peel it off (which is not easy) and do it again within a couple of years - hence my mention above of hospital grade polythene tubing, which is extremely soft and flexible.

Just had the same issue on 2019 corrinium duo - broken cable - dealer fixed under warranty and changed the door handle and door seal as per procedure.... in other words they all expected this to happen within a year....!!
