Warwick Xl
Hello Everyone
I joined the forum yesterday, thanks for your welcoming messages.
I'll hit the ground running here!
I've got a few queries re. our Warwick Xl.
These are:
It 's got blue mood lighting under the step into the driving area,
the only switch I can find to operate this is the one on the back of the kitchen unit,
next to the awning light switch, is there another handier one?
Also on the step there is what looks like a heater duct but when the heater is on
nothing comes from it. Is it just a fresh air vent?
Last but not least on our previous camper I just used a hose to fill straight into the tank.
The Warwick has the whale filling system but is there any way to fill the onboard tank
using a hose and mains pressure.
A pump came with the vehicle but it's intended to draw water from a vessel,
which is quite slow and inconvenient when using motorhome servicing points.
Any help on these points would be very welcome,
Best Regards

Hi, on my 2016 WXL I have only found the one switch for the blue lights at the side of the awning light switch , I have warm air coming threw the vent in the step but you have to alter the vents on the other out let’s to balance the output , for filling I also have a normal filling point next to the fridge vents which I just use a watering can to fill up with

Re: Warwick Xl
I believe there was a period around the age of your van when A/S just fitted the whale filling system. They obviously realised this wasn’t great as a few years later started fitting a manual ‘hole in the wall’ as well. Don’t quote me but I believe some have had the extra manual hole fitted by A/S.
It’s not a difficult job to take the step top off and check the heating pipe. For some reason I’ve got 2 vents in the step, one is not connected to anything. I think an over enthusiastic employee fitted one extra by mistake!

Re: Warwick Xl
A hole in the wall filler can be fitted by AS (cost sround£200) or by any competent caravan workshop.

Re: Warwick Xl
Our 2015/2016 Warwick Duo came with both filling systems. Don't know if it was standard as we bought the van from the dealers forecourt and not by order build.
I must say both work really well.

Thanks for your help, the heater duct works now I've altered the other vents.
I'm thinking of buying a Whale Watermaster pump with 7.5 m of hose attached,(Whale No. EM9433) am I correct in thinking I could fill my tank with this?

Re: Warwick Xl
I have found the heater hose can come off the outlet, being a push fit, heating under bench area etc. A small self tapping screw soon fixed it.

Re: Warwick Xl
yes, looking on a Google search from your above reference number.
that is what your van should have come with as original.
