Another one from Ireland
Hello all and thanks for the membership.
We feel very lucky and excited having very recently purchased a 2002 Peugeot Boxer Symbol.
Our first Motorhome/Camper after many years looking on enviously at the many different ones we'd often see and finally deciding recently on a Autosleeper Symbol that miraculously came up for sale 50 miles up the road a few weeks later.
Looking forward to learning more about this great wee camper and life on the road in general, that is when we're able to travel further afield again.
Stay safe all
Mark.

Welcome MG, you have arrived on the right forum. Free, friendly, and a font of knowledge on all things Autosleeper.
I am in Co. Down and a former Autosleeper owner. I would also suggest that you join motorhomecraic.com which is the all Ireland Motorhome forum. Also free (although there is an associated club which organises meets etc which has an annual fee) very friendly and a great location to get info on anything Motorhome related on the island, especially where to go, park, overnight etc.
Look also at the app motorhomeparkingireland (part of the craic) there is a free version which shows campsites and aires, but the full version has over 1000 locations to park or stay recommended by members. It costs about €6 for a year (recurring) but is easily cancelled before renewal if it doesn’t suit you, but well worth a trial year.
Good luck with the adventures you will have in the van. I assume by SW you are in Cork or Kerry, so even during the lockdown you might get out round your county for a few trips.

You are in one of my favourite areas SW Eire, plenty of opportunity for using the van there (under normal circumstances!)

Hi Davy,
Wondering if you could suggest a good place around or near Belfast who could check out the blow heater and maybe give the gas/electrics a once over?
Hoping to take the van up in the new year to visit relatives, restrictions permitting, and thought it could be a good opportunity to hopefully get heater fixed.
No pressure of course.
Regards
Mark.

Re: Another one from Ireland
My current van is serviced by Donagheys (Letterkenny) as they supplied it, but I used to have any work on my Rienza done by Simon at leisuretechnicalsolutions.
https://www.leisuretechnicalsolutions.co.uk/
He is based at knockmore business park on the outskirts of Lisburn. He is excellent, at a fair price and good quality work.
I would suggest posting on motorhomecraic for other personal recommendations.
