Re: warning triangle
As regards Truma faults, the most common reason is unplugging hook up without turning off Truma fully . You need to hold down the close button for a full ten seconds otherwise it only goes into stand-by.

Re: warning triangle
If you leave the EC500 powered on and start the engine, you will get a warning error as it powers off (we also get an alarm sound).
As Paul says, always power off the Truma panel before powering off the EC500. Again, the Truma panel will show an error if you don't - it's connected to the EC500.
So, before setting off:
1) shut down Truma panel
2) shut down EC500
3) unhook EHU
4) start engine

Re: warning triangle
Hi Weegie , It was not connected to the mains and not switched on at the main panel as I was just parked up . The info about the Truma I will reset tomorrow . So I should when plugged in and removing cable b4 moving I should switch off my EC500 that way nothing will come up on the screen ok .

For clarification, I cannot say, hand on heart, that I've never not turned off the Truma first, or, not started the engine before turning off the EC500 and it's never caused an issue (in a Kingham the Truma heating can be run while in motion, so, the Truma 'should' be able to remain powered on - it will still show the warning triangle though).
If you're saying that your EC500 is already powered off and still gives a warning triangle when you start the engine, then, that's a different problem. I've never encountered that, so, can't offer any advice.

Re: warning triangle
Here s what Truma say about error code W225H.
"The heater does not have 12 Volt power supply or there is no connection between the heater and the CP plus control panel.
The power supply to the heater may have been interrupted by switching off the vehicle control panel (not the Truma heater control panel)."

Re: warning triangle
Unless I have missed something, easy done these days, on our Warwick when you start the engine, it automatically turns the control panel off and retracts the step if out.

Re: warning triangle
The heater blower must have 12v supply as it can be used while there is no mains connection
