Nuevo shower swinging wall
The swinging wall in my shower compartment has popped out of the top and bottom hinge points. I'v been able o get the top or bottom one to go back in but not both at the same time.
Has anyone else had experience of his issue?
Many thanks

Re: Nuevo shower swinging wall
Yes. There's a thread about how to fix it on this Forum - roughly 18 months ago. I'll have a search...
Cymro
This is it, I think

PS: several other threads, if you search on the word Swing.

Thanks Cymro, didn't really expect a quick reply but hoped maybe posting around lunchtime would find someone browsing.
Cheers I'll have look at your links.

Jon Rogers, if you look at my thread, referenced by Cymro (thanks) it will show how I managed to get around this stupid design failing. Taking a light fitting out and wedging in "soft stuff" above the ceiling is not, imho, and engineering solution. Give me a shout if you need any help.

Update to original post
Some progress has been made: when we bought our Nuevo in 2017 we had just suffered the inadequacies of an Eldiss Majestic supplied and maintained by Marquis. Neitther proved to live up to the Majestic title. Because of this we had decide to try and select a dealer from the old Autosleepers network. We chose Simpsons at Gt.Yarmouth. We had visited the site several times when serching for vans but had not used them for anything. We explined the poor services we had been experiencing and made a point of carefully scrutinising the Nuevo on offer, an ex demo unit. They corrected every minor fault we had pointed out without question. We had always had this sort of service from other Autosleepers franchised dealesr that we had used in the past so the time had come to put our theory to the test when th swing wall in the shower room came adrift.
I emailed Simpsons and waied to be rebuffed because the vehicle was out of warranty. I did make a case based on the fact we had hardly used the offending swinging wall s we choose to use site facilities for showers when available. However: Simpsons contacted Autosleepers who asked them to submit a report with photographs for consideration. We provide photos and Autosleepers agreed to provide the parts for repair to simpsons and to cover he costs of fitting. Currently we are awaiting to hear when Simpsons can do the work but I expect a positive outcome and a repair even though the vehicle is out of Waranty by more than six months!

Re: Nuevo shower swinging wall
It would a good answer to the problem if we could find out what the repair parts consist of , if their is such a thing ?. Mine has not come out yet ,but looks like it's getting ready.

Thanks Molly, Alas we don't know that yet, when I do I will post here again. Of course there is time for the whole deal to collapse yet, but I've no reason to expect that will happen
