Bourton bed
In our Bourton we prefer to use the double bed. However making it up is a big effort and unlike our old Winchcombe there is no area left to sit.
The long cushions are also very long & difficult to handle.
Since the resultant bed is very wide its seems possible to configure it the same way as our Winchcombe.
I realise it means splitting & altering the seats lengths & covering the new exposed cushion edges. The under metal supports will also be needed to be cut and altered
Wondering if anybody done this? or know of a company that can do this type of work?
I put a put couple requests into Willersley-- as usual no help or information forthcoming

Re: Bourton bed
Yes we don't use the settees as double but it certainly occurred to me that the Worcester (Winchcombe) arrangement that left two seats when the double is made up was a far better design solution.
