T4 Trident
The EHU lead is extremely tight fit into the Trident T4 van connector.....The vans connector plug has some kind of lever inside the connector flap does anyone know if this adjusts or extends in someway OR Is this just normal? Thanks

Re: T4 Trident
The lever shouldn't be the cause unless it's been broken/misplaced. It is simply a latch to stop the plug from pulling out without being released. I've never seen one that is adjustable.
If you're pressing down on the (typically blue) lever while removing the plug and it's still hard to shift then it may be that the plug is tight - they sometimes are. It's often possible to fix this by very carefully opening up the brass split "socket" terminal inside the plug.

Taking care that the lead isn't connected to the mains, I give the plug and socket a liberal spray of WD40 every now and then. It's surprising how much debris gets washed out.

Try a very thin application of petroleum jelly (Vaseline), which is an electrical conductor, to clean pins in the plug. Keith
