2003 Nuevo no hot water
Any clues as to what could be causing this. All the lights go on. Distribution board looks ok. Water pump sounds right.

I would guess you have a Truma Ultrastor water heater that can be fuelled by Gas or 230v electricity, is that what you are asking about and which fuel are you trying to use?

That is correct. Neither seem to work, but I am a motorhome novice, so I may be doing something wrong.

I think you'll find the switch for electric water heating on the front of one of the side benches.

Re: 2003 Nuevo no hot water
First things first:
have you a full tank of fresh water?
are you getting cold water through the tap, without sputtering?
Is the EHU connected?
Have you found the 3 way switch for the boiler heating element. With the switch in the central position the boiler is off, switched one way it sets part of the element going and switched the other way it sets the whole element going. It heats to the same temperature in both cases but does it faster with the full element running. Remember, never switch the boiler on 'til you know it has filled with water ie there is water coming from the kitchen tap when set to hot.

If you're trying to fire it up on gas and are sure all the isolating valves in the gas box and wardrobe are on, have you checked the flue vent cover is removed? It won't fire up with the cover on.
On EHU, if the boiler is full of water and the switch light is on you should get hot water.

On our van the switch is in the wardrobe.

Sometimes there's a master switch and then the three position switch on the bench front panel.

Yes you're right. Too many caravans and motorhomes, details get confused.Beetee wrote:Paulmold wrote:I think you'll find the switch for electric water heating on the front of one of the side benches.
