New Topaz Owners
Hi
We're from the South West of England and purchased our 1999 Topaz last year and already we have driven to France and Italy for 3 weeks (pre lockdown) with no problems
Now waiting to do another overseas trip when Lockdown allows

Plenty of help on here if needed, although I expect you Topaz is a T4, in which case it will be better built than later ones.

Gefcon1 - I love the picture of your Topaz. Are you still enjoying going out and about in it?

Re: New Topaz Owners
That is an interesting point, Richard. Do you or anyone know when Autosleeper conversions stopped being made on the T4 chassis? I ask because we believe that the T4, at 5.2m is the only one that will fit in our driveway - so we are looking for the most recent T4 based Topaz. Thanks, Carolynrgermain wrote:

Re: New Topaz Owners
Welcome to the forum from our corner of Lincolnshire.
. I had a lot of time driving VW T4’s vans and Transits. The Topaz and Clubman was on our shortlist before we bought the Duetto. Unfortunately the Topaz and Clubman we looked at were just out of our price bracket.
