Dutto, I had a contact at work who used to do all the company POS printing so all my vans 'acquired' 9" vinyl reg numbers on the roof, new owners probably didn't realise they were there !
There used to be a company in the back of one of the mags advertising them, but they've disappeared.
Brian, Thanks for the picture instructions, I'm off gardening now so will have a proper look later.

Mark 1 flag pole was useless so working on a Mark 2, still using 2 parts of my fishing rod !!
I think pipe wrap might have a role to play ...............
Thanks for the photo uploading guidance Brian, managed to get a photo up of my Harmony's bumpers before treatment in the 'Monocoque' section.

Thanks Cruzin', hope to finish the bumpers soon and there's some cleaning work to do inside. Considering it's 14 years old and been in Greece for 18months in 2002/3 with a previous owner, not bad, and no rust anywhere.
Got a big service and MOT coming up next month and their bodyshop are going to do generous £50 buff up and repair some dinks as a trade off for £400 scratch repair to my car earlier in the year.

27th August flying proudly at St Remy du Provence.
Unfortunately the power cable in the adjoining field streching across the skyline rather spoils the shot.
But heyho that's camping

Re: ASOF Rally Flags
Great picture Mrs CC
So the new ASOF flags are beginning to be flown wide & far
What we now need is an ASOF Rally where they can all come together. Wow what a site that would be!

Hi Dago.... maybe a rally or meet could be arranged for 2013
We recently got a windsock spinner which compliments our ASOF flag nicely, as soon as the EHU is connected our flag being erected is the next thing on the list of things to do, get some curious looks from neighbouring pitches but who cares

Re: ASOF Rally Flags
There is nothing to stop ASOF members who are in ASOC booking on a rally provided the the approved ASOC system is followed.
There is nothing to stop ASOF/ASOC members organising their own rally. The list is made up in November for Jan release.
We are organizing a rally the 1st week of July and I know of at least five ASOF members who will aim on getting on it.
Its location is good and there will be either a follow on or ours may be a follow on for another in the same region making it worthwhile for distance travellers.
Earlier in the year I sounded a dealer out who has a rally site, in response to a few requests from ASOF members to run the rally I was going to do it off the back of club Spinney and there was no response to my posting. Their club is free and the only cost would be if you went to a rallly and there are at least 6 on here who are members of that club anyway.

My last comment was meant as tongue in cheek, but I sincerely hope a meet gets off the ground to further the ASOF cause, even though my domestic situation (full time carer) rules me out of attending.

Re: ASOF Rally Flags
Would be interested in the July Rally CC! Maybe this topic should be removed to a new thread. Don't want to antaganise any folk!
We have a set of solar led lights up our flagpole.
Makes it easier to spot the van when walking back to it after an evening out. Hic

Hi Dago... as we are discussing rallies and rally flags it's not really off topic
Have just created a poll so members can vote if they are interested in attending an ASOF rally here
https://www.autosleeper-ownersforum.com/t4774-would-you-consider-attending-an-asof-rally
Sorry you are unlikely to be able to attend Terry

If a meet is organised I'll donate £1 to ASOF for every van flying an ASOF flag proven by a group photo posted on the forum.
Hope it happens.

Best Regards, Mike, Sue and Winnie.
