name of alarm system fitted
Collecting our first Autosleeper in 2 weeks.
I forgot to make a note of the maker of the standard alarm system fitted - which our Insurer will wish to know. Can anyone help?

There is no alarm fitted as standard, immobiliser is standard. Dealers can usually arrange alarm fitting and normally will have arrangement with local installer. There is a tracker fitted though, subject to you making it live by paying subscription.

Welcome to the forum!
I am assuming that as its a 2017 model it will have had one previous owner - so a lot will depend on what additional security features might have been added by the original owner.
The dealer should be aware????

Sorry I didn't look at year, I assumed we were talking new. So as Liam says, the dealer may have details/instructions/receipt regarding what has been fitted.

Re: name of alarm system fitted
Thanks to all, for response.
I have come from the Autotrail Forum and am pleased to see that the speed and quality of help here is just as good!! So, is the immobiliser a standard Peugeot fit? What is the name of the tracker, I do recall seeing something in the mountain of documents with it that referred to a tracker, but cannot recall the name?
I have asked Spinneys to put me in touch with the previous owner, but they are snowed under so no response as yet.
Cheers
Ian

The immobiliser is standard Peugeot. There have been a few different trackers over the years, perhaps someone can help with that, I don't have one.

The immobiliser is the standard one as fitted to Peugeot base vehicle.
Our 2017 van has a Hal Locate tracker so it’s likely yours will be the same.

Re: name of alarm system fitted
hello all,
When we bought or Nuevo it was only fitted with the standard Peugeot immobiliser, and Hal Locate tracking system, the Insurance company were happier we had an alarm fitted (and another discount was applied!) so I arranged for a Cobra Alarm Cat2/1 Thatcham approved system to be installed. It was done at home by TSN (Luton) and they charged £490.00. It has been faultless so far since 2015. would recommend them, the fitting service was good. regards, Chris.
