Interior wood finishes
I’ve probably been down this road before; but what is the interior of the modern As made from?
It must be light weight!! Is it a thin ply on top of a wooden frame?
Some of it seems too thin for that type of construction so I’m guessing that it’s a laminate of some kind?
I see occasionally that the laminate occasionally peels away, I had this on my broadway! I was hoping to buy a bit of it but as always it’s very difficult to match!

Re: Interior wood finishes
Large panels are mainly lightweight ply with a plastic foil wood effect wrap applied . Worktops are hollow and can contain cardboard lattice type structure to give rigidity and impression of bulk. Walls can be 2 thin foil faced sheets of ply sandwiching a thin wood framework between to give impression of a solid thick panel. The pre- glued plastic foil is applied by apparently floating on a bed of water and the ply sheet /door etc is pressed into it to form the bond. As we know this is less than successful in increasing numbers of our vans.... A//s probably best source of matching board for recent vans or O learys and Magnum for older examples.
