2011 autosleeper control panel
Hi folks, just got me a 2011 flat floor symbol. The control panel ec51 has a line of rectangles on right hand side... think they are level displays. Nowhere can I find what each one is for... third one down - out of five- keeps flashing orange when I switch engine on. Anyone know what it means or indeed what the five lights in these rectangles mean. Manual doesn’t say. I have a solar panel, leisure battery. Real newbie to this but happy! thanks in advance.

I have the ec51. The verticals row of LEDs shows the level of power in each battery when you select the required battery by pressing the buttons on top row. If you press the water button the LEDs show the level of fresh water. When on hook up the battery level should show full by illuminating all the LEDs. When not in hook up, the normal level shown is all but the top led. Your handbook should give the approximate voltage of the LEDs lit. I've never had one flashing, perhaps that's a warning that the battery is low, it cuts off the battery when voltage falls below a certain amount, all shown in the handbook.

According to the manual (page 6) they are fresh water level displays, full,75%, 50%, 25% and empty, from top to bottom. To show them press tank symbol (next to tap symbol). Don't know why middle flashes as described.
Reboot panel might sort it.

I can't recall where I read this now, but I ~think~ that this simply means that the panel is in "EMC shutdown" mode - where all except a few of the habitation 12V circuits are turned off because the engine is running.
Edit: Now that I re-read the EC51 manual it seems that I remembered that wrong - the two "battery select" buttons are supposed to flash when in "EMC shutdown" mode - does yours do that when the engine is running with the EC51 powered on?

On our van the centre led of that column flashes all the time when the engine is running. It must be ok because all these functions work on our van.

The EC51 instructions were updated to version 1E and state that the flashing centre light indicates that the leisure battery is being charged by the vehicle alternator when the engine is running. Hope this helps Jeff
