Replacement Toilet Cassette Empty Replacement Toilet Cassette

Post by buzz56 Tue May 08, 2012 11:55 am

I have leak (not nice)!! Upon investigation I found a small leak from the Fiamma cassette. Thinking of either sealing it with some waterproof product or buying a new cassette. The latter might be difficult as the probably dont make them anymore.

Any ideas from you guys?

Hi buzz56. I don't know anything about Fiammi cassette toilets but Thetford supply a complete kit with a cassette and seat so maybe Fiammi do. Alternatively if it's a small leak glue a patch over it? A model number or picture might help others.

I think you will find it near impossible to obtain a replacement Fiamma cassette and may have to try a seal the leak. If you recall from your earlier thread on Fiamma toilets, all stock was sold to one converter when the toilet was discontinued. Your only chance may be to contact O'Leary's.. if it's a crack then you might be able to use Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure, been mentioned on the forum a few times and it might just do the job [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] otherwise I guess you could fibreglass resin over the area but not sure how successful that would be?

Thanks for all the helpful advice, looks like no chance of a replacement so going to try and seal it somehow. scratch head
