Burford Tyre Pressures
Hi.
We have a 2015 MB Burford.
Mercedes say to run 52 psi in the front tyres and 75 psi in the back. What tyre pressures do other Burford owners run. I wish to soften the teeth rattling ride.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
Keith

Re: Burford Tyre Pressures
Use the continental tyre pressure chart in fact sheet section for your axle loads.

Re: Burford Tyre Pressures
I have a Hymer MLT 580 which is roughly the same as a Burford in terms of base vehicle, chassis, low profile body, weight etc. On the manufacturer’s tyre pressures the ride was on the hard side, so I now run it at about 62 front and rear, which has made a significant difference. I check the temperature of the tyres at stops just with my hand, and even in the summer at continental temperatures, I’ve had no problems. It’s worth experimenting.

Re: Burford Tyre Pressures
The pressures I was using on my burford were 52psi on the front and 65psi on the rear and found that seemed to soften the ride.
I also kept a watch on the tyrepal system for temperature rises and had no problems even during the hot days this summer.
Just changed to a winchcombe (similar size and weight) and when it was delivered the tyres were all at 58psi but I have now set them as 52psi front and 65psi rear the same as the burford. Hope this is helpful

Re: Burford Tyre Pressures
Continental Tyres recommend 46F and 68R for my Winchcombe.
