tyre pressures
hi,
i see from the peugeot boxer handbook that the tyre pressure for the 270M 2 berth 1998cc model is 44 psi all round and 46psi in the spare.
should i be altering this when i have put all my personal belongings and equipment in the van up to the permitted limit?
the symbol manual only tells me that the van is built within the 'design envelope' of the base vehicle.
any help on this matter will be gratefully received,
thank you

Re: tyre pressures
Run them that way as a base to work from with the van at the weight you intend to use. Run as straight a road as possible for 15/20 miles, stop and check the temperature across the width of the tyre. If the sides are warmer than the centre then they are too soft and vice versa.

Re: tyre pressures
There is (was) a good tyre pressure chart for all sizes on the website of tyresafe.org but it's not been available for a while. When it was on I checked for my size of tyre and it was very close to the pressures shown on the drivers door pillar as opposed to the handbook. Have you got such a sticker on your pillar, if you have it should be pretty close to what you need. An email to your tyre manufacturer with the size of tyre and your axle weights (you may have to visit a weighbridge) should get you the correct pressures.
