Trooper roof rack
Hi - we have a VW auto sleeper Trooper 1998 - has anyone added a roof rack to theirs? we have conflicting messages from garages - some say it can't be fitted to the fibreglass roof, others that we can. I thought I'd check for people's experience before ploughing on. It would not be for super heavy items, just 2-3 surfboards. Many thanks

I know it's not what you want to hear, but the advice from someone who has owned three examples of that type of roof would be: don't do it. The roof is not (IMO) strongly enough built for you to be able to add extra weight to it safely.
