We are there.....I think I have succeeded in persuading hubby to update and upgrade to an automatic. Silver lining to him getting another arthritic knee flare up last week.

Back home now after the show, all very enjoyable, many thanks to the club's volunteer organisers. We discovered there's more to Lincoln on the Saturday, previous times we'd just walked up the hill, seen the Cathedral then gone back down again. This time we discovered more of older Lincoln at the top of the hill, the walls, the Magna Carta, the prison with Vivian Westwood's "sexy" funky shoes etc, old buildings, pubs and shops. Phew

Sorry we didn't meet, didn't know your names.
We also saw a different part of Lincoln to previous visits, i.e Brayford area along the river and marina with all the restaurants and bars (heaving due to it being registration day for the university.)
