Internal Blinds
Yesterday took delivery of a new Bourton and very disappointed to discover no internal blinds fitted on windscreen etc unlike on our Winchombe which we liked. External one supplied instead.
The internal ones are easy to use and saved going outside and getting wet!
The dealer blamed Hymer for not allowing the manufacturer the right to make them for the new Mercedes other than supplied by Hymer for the foreseeable future.
I wonder does anyone have information when this embargo will end and can the blinds be fitted as an later addition.

Re: Internal Blinds
Hi, I took delivery in May of a similar vehicle and was also disappointed and the explanation was the same. I visited AS at Willersey a few weeks ago and enquired about a retro fit and they said blinds will not be available until next year but could not be specific about the date.

Re: Internal Blinds
We have a 2019 Bourton. At the time of order and delivery (21 May) we were advised that Remis blinds would be available for retrofitting in Jul/Aug 2019. This was confirmed on several occasions until 13 July when an email from AS to our dealer was shared with us - It stated that blinds were still exclusive to Hymer until August 2020. 'Still' suggests that this information was known previously yet the change in delivery time had not been disclosed to us. We would not have taken delivery if we had known this so believe we were mis-sold on this item. Furious or what! Any sensible advice welcome.

Probably the best bet would be to get the best cooperation you can from A/S to resolve as soon as possible. I don't think you have anything to gain by trying to go down the "mis-sold" route, because as far as I can recall, A/S have always covered themselves in the T&Cs by stating that they have the right to vary the spec without notice.
In reality, things like product availability can change week by week, and there's not much A/S can do to stop that happening, because it's beyond their control.
