Irish tour
Hi.
We have just returned from a 5 week tour of Ireland. Arriving in Belfast for 2 days then to the mountains of mourne before going north to north coast where we did the carrick-en-rede and the giants causeway, (walk along the coastal path to it. Its a lovely walk), we then followed the wild coast via Derry then round the west coast to Limerick, on to Cork then back home via Dublin.
There are not many campsites, but one of the best was Gurteen campsite 3km west of Roundstone. We came across places where motorhomes where park up even though there where no campervan signs there, the Irish van owners said just ignore them nobody will move you on.
It was great trip,
Alan

Re: Irish tour
Glad you enjoyed your tour, we thoroughly enjoyed ours too. One of the things that made it for us was the generally more laid back attitude to where you can and can’t stop or park. We felt at times, we were on a race circuit last year on the NC500, whereas the WAW had a generally more relaxed feel about it.
