Techy q on a sat dome Empty Re: Techy q on a sat dome

I bought a 22" Cello Traveler tv that has built in freeview and sat tuners and runs of 12v, I have an external standalone dish that just plugs into the TV (no need for a digibox) for when I can't get a terrestrial signal. It also has a DVD player and will play MP4 films from a memory stick, price was under £200.
The only fault I can find are the sound is tinny but that is a problem with most thin tv's, I just bought speakers that plug into the earphone socket to give a better sound.
You may still need the gubbins that controls the dome.

Yes, Sam, you will still need the box that controls the dish.

You can do without the digibox, though.

Connect the output from the control box into the TV satellite input instead of the digibox.
