Overhead bunk for Duetto
Hi All,
We recenctly got a '97 Duetto, the pieces for the overhead bunk came with the 'van but the instructions in the Autosleeper manual don't make much sense.
There are 5 pieces:
2 which go across to form the bunk, one of these has a batten screwed to it which forms a lip for the other piece to sit on, the second piece has a formed channel at each end of one edge.
There are two small pieces which are profiled on one edge to match the van shape and look as if they'll fit in the channels mentioned above.
The final piece is hinged to a batten, its ends are profiled and there is a small sliding bolt on each end.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Yes it does ring a bell! Sounds just like ours.
What sort of problems are you having with it?

Hi Bumperman,
Just don't see how it's supposed to fit safely in place, what's the hinged bit for?
Regards,
Altech
