Is it possible to tune in to French channels while in France? I am now in the second site (Angers) and have failed again to get any channels on my Avtex TV. I have tried with the fixed aerial on my Warwick XL and with my Avtex aerial

France changed its TV systems about 2 years ago and is now all HD which earlier Avrex TVs don't support.

I have just gone down the mifi route, internet TV. Three do a good unlimited data roaming package and I just use my laptop. Works perfectly in the UK, should of course work worldwide where there is a phone signal. Trying it in France soon.

Watch Three, they have a fair usage policy which means you can only use 19gb of your allowance a month abroad. I swapped to Vodafone and get 100gb which Vodafone assures me I can use in its entirety abroad.

We  watch very little TV abroad. But I did watch tennis from Paris on my iPad using the 3 mifi. It uses about 1gb per hour. Jo Konta semi didn't take much longer! Will check out the Vodafone sim.
