Replacing bulb in exterior unit
Can some kind soul tell me how to remove the plastic cover on the outside light unit please.
Does it simply unclip somehow or do I need to remove the screws which are presumably under the two spots of mastic each side of the unit.
Thankyou. Eddie.

Not many Northants about (only 8 registered on the forum with only two owners posting in the last 6 months) so unless it uses same lamps as other models you may not get an answer. Perhaps if you could post a photo so someone may recognise the fitting that may help.

If you mean the Awning light like this https://www.waudbys.co.uk/products/details/18343.html?aditem=20982&gref=64730183181&gdev=c&gloc=9050365
The screws fix it to the body of the van, with a load of mastic. The lens is fixed from behind, so the whole light needs to be removed for access.

Same set up on my 2012 Broadway. The halogen bulb has blown twice now and replacing it involves undoing the two screws and the surrounding mastic as per Ploughlin's web link. Not well thought out at all.
