Have spotted only a few AS vans here in NZ while touring over the past 8 weeks, most recently a newish looking Broadway on the Thames Firth. Of the British vans we spotted, Autotrail is the most popular.
Dread to think what it must cost to ship them out from UK.

I've been in Northland on the North Island for 12 weeks now, it's a popular tourist area, but I've only seen one foreign registered van, a couple from Germany who are taking in NZ as part of their round the world tour in their small Hymer 500.
As you say, Autotrail seems to be the most popular European built van. A dealer here in Whangarei is an importer.
