Broadway FB
Hi All
I presently have a 2017 registered Nuevo EK and are considering upgrading to a larger Autosleepers Model
Ideally a Corinium Duo but I think cost, length and payload will all be prohibitive.
Alternative option could be the Broadway FB
Questions
1. On the Broadway, can the front seats be turned 180 degrees as in the Nuevo and used as part of two single beds.
2. Is a second overcab bed a option on the Broadway FB
Might be a Nuevo up for sale!

Yes the cab seats rotate that will give the exact sleeping set up as your current Nuevo and of course the option of transverse double. We like the additional extra space that is the kitchen area opposite the habitation door then the fixed bed and aside bathroom (window makes it light and airy) with separate shower enclosure. Our 2013 registration only has a 305kg payload that I recall was a negative on reviews at the time. Because of this, we can only travel with empty tanks due to all the other stuff that's loaded.

Do consider that when you reach 70 you are limited to 3500kg max weight unless you take a 3 yearly medical to retain your up to 7.5 tonnes. Other disadvantages are restricted access to some roads and towns and larger motorway tolls especially in Austria. The plus is Vehicle tax of around 50% of the up to 3500kg vans.Eltel wrote:Hi All

Hi Ron
Thanks for taking the time to highlight the 70th Birthday issue which I am aware of.
I have discounted the Corinium option on those and financial grounds, must admit I had not considered the increased tax
Now looking at other options

We've spent a lot of time doing that Terry, as you do every time you change vans or go to a show.Eltel wrote:Now looking at other options.
For various reasons, some of them specific to our front drive, we've never found anything to beat the Nuevo EK.
You might find one of those is perfect for you too!

The extra length of the Broadway means that you don’t need to swivel the front seats when using the bench seats as singles. Anyway, swivelling is awkward because you can’t store anything strapped to the seat (picnic chairs say) and you usually have to shift the seat position to swivel it completely.

Re: Broadway FB
Hi BornAgain, our previous Broadway EK similar to yours indeed has the longer bench seats that for most does not require the cab seats to be part of the single bed arrangement. However, the Broadway FB like the Nuevo has the shorter bench seats that require the rotation of the cab seats to form the beds.
