Reverse polarity light
Morning, So when picking up symbol yesterday on handover I was told all the illuminated lights on the ec500 power supply unit ( top right lights ) should be lit. On reading the owners manual I think the reverse polarity light should be not lit. So is it lit to say it’s working correctly or am I getting it wrong. I’m only travelling around the uk.
Thanks mark

Re: Reverse polarity light
The reverse polarity light should remain unlit if all is correct. If yours was lit at handover i am supprised it was not investigated. If it is lit when connected at home i would suggest as a quick check you look at the connections in your hook up lead to see if it is connected correctly. If you dont feel confident with this, either ask someone who is or take it up with the van supplier.Sure there is a simple answer but it needs to be found, only traveling around the uk is no reason to
accept it. Good luck with a quick fix.

Have a read of:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
and especially the last section headed, "Why is my reverse polarity light illuminated?"
In brief, if the light is on, you have reverse polarity.
