Worcester N3000 fridge
hi everyone, just arrived in Kent after a 300 mile trip - van (and fridge) was on EHU for 24 hours before leaving and working fine. Set up on site but fridge switched automatically to gas rather than 240v and will not operate on electricity either on auto or manual. Working fine on gas.
I'm guessing it could be a fuse (which I believe is located in the box behind the drivers seat) so will have a look at those tomorrow but in the meantime, has anyone had this fault (error code 10) and if so what was the issue?
Thanks, David

The fuse in "the box behind the seat" is only for the 12V fridge operation with engine running. The EHU supply "fuse" is in the main PSU (EC 325/8?), one of the contact breakers.

Re: Worcester N3000 fridge
I had a similar fault on my Worcester when it was about 5 years old, unfortunately I can’t remember what error code was displayed.
The problem was the mains electric element on the fridge that had gone open circuit - it’s probably the one that gets most use. (There is a separate element for the 12 volt and of course a burner system for the gas input). Once this fails it automatically switches to the next available source.
As it occurred at close to my habitation service I got my friendly mobile engineer to fix it. As I recall it was not that expensive and he seemed quite well aware of the problem.
Hope that helps.
Regards - Graham

Thanks for making us aware of it, not something we have experienced but if we do at least we will now have an idea what it is. Hope it is fixed soon.

Re: Worcester N3000 fridge
Thanks Graham. A friend of mine was a weapons artificer in the navy and once advised me when you cannot trace an electrical fault turn it off then on again - it apparently worked on the nuclear submarines!
So yesterday, I just unplugged the EHU and plugged it in again (had tried switching fridge off and on without success) and behold - it worked.
Since then there have been a couple of times when it switches back to gas and when turned off then on again will revert to 240v so your suggestion may be the cause. Will have it checked when we get back home.
