Hi Mike
I am intrigued by a bell on a van.
Can you describe a little more as I am sure someone will know.

Re: Symphony Bell
Hi,
We have a Symphony, but no bell (Do we get a no-bell prize?)
Seriously, is it a bell or a bell push, as on a front door? Could it be something to do with an alarm system, (if fitted)? I am intrigued.
Please elucidate, or better still post a piccy, would love to know!

That was really quick-witted. Seriously I'm intrigued as well by this 'bell'. Just been to look at my Symphony to make sure I'd not missed it on sill but nothing.

Re: Symphony Bell
I think it's the exhaust baffle for the propex heater. Attached to the sill? have a look at the back of it and if I'm right, there's a convoluted pipe attached.

Re: Symphony Bell
Hi frank, That would appear to be the answer. It would mean that it was an extra on purchase.
Not on my one but i think i have a heating system on board.

Re: Symphony Bell
If Frank is right which sounds likely, I didn't recognise it as looking like a bell on the sill. On mine the intake and exhaust pipes hang down underneath and although the rearmost one (the exhaust) is attached to the rear of the sill, I got the impression you meant it was on the outside. Mine is a Carver P4 system, others used a Propex system, same principle, just a different make.
