I had something very similar on my VW Paul.
It was super compact, lightweight and very quick to put up on my own. Even in moderate rain I could cook under it and stay dry.
However, as a sun shade it was absolutely useless! I tried lowering one corner etc..but there was minimal shade whatever I tried.
It looked lovely though.
