Undoing seat bolts
I might as well ask properly after thinking wrongly that the 'lost thread' post had something to do with my problem.
My leisure battery is about 5 years old now and has lost much it's capacity, which is fine for winter use with mains hook-up but will be no use when the weather warms up and we will be back to THS and wild camping.
When I last changed the battery I had to tip up the old and new one to fit then under the seat and I don't really want do this again in case there is some leakage. I have tried to loosen the seat bolts (Nuevo II ES) but they just turn. Do I have to get under the van and find the bolts or is there another way?
Thanks
Fred

Re: Undoing seat bolts
Hi
Silly question perhaps but what bolts are you trying to undo ?, I presume the Nuevo has a swivel base if so it is the bolts that fix the base to the seat box, they can be very tight you may need a hexagon socket
regards
Alan

Re: Undoing seat bolts
Sorry not explained very well.
The battery is under the 'telescopic' seat behind the drivers seat and is in a tray at the end nearest .the wardrobe. I am sure other members have changed their batteries or perhaps got a service centre or garage to it.
If I must get under the van I shall ask Mark Wrathall (my mot and service garage) to do is as he has a pit.
