Heated rear windows Empty Heated rear windows

Post by HH66 Tue Dec 04, 2018 8:10 pm

Hi.  A quick question about heated rear windows.  I'm picking up a new (to me) van in a couple of weeks and it has heated rear windows.  I made some thermal blinds for my last van with rubber suckers on.  Can I use rubber suckers on heated windows or will it damage the elements?
Thanks.

We use them, no visible problem. Can't say I've needed to use the heat of them yet.

Not sure, but why not take the fuse out and not use them just in case. I have never used ours on the Warwick and have never had any reason to use them, mind you the rear windows are black glass making it hard to see out of.

But if you remove the fuse then the heated mirror function will not work.
