Mercedes Sprinter Radio Code

Hi.
I have 2017 Burford on a Mercedes Sprinter. Do you know if the radio is coded on this vehicle as I need to disconnect the battery.
I see nothing in the Mercedes Manuel.

Mine is 2010 Sprinter and had I had new Batteries fitted earlier this year and no adjustments neaded to be made after fitting, all worked fine.  where would you find the radio code? I didn't get a owners manual or any instructions when I bought the MH.

I have disconnected battery a number of times without losing the radio, no code needed. I believe the radio is linked to to the ECU and in fact won't work in another vehicle without recoding at the dealer. Clock time does go and window operation may need reset, how is in the manual.

As I understand the radio cannot be fitted to another vehicle , a code is stored in the ecu .
