New Project Empty New Project

Post by mr nodreads Tue Nov 20, 2018 3:16 pm

Hi,

I'm Tom based in the Liverpool area.

I'd been thinking about a camper for a while when I spotted an MOT failure Renault Trafic Rimini going cheap, being somebody who likes a project it fitted the bill. Now I have it I can see that the interior is in good condition but there is some(!) welding to be done, luckily I can weld so hopefully it won't take too long too sort out.

I know, I know, so much optimism at the beginning of a project often drains away in winter, so I've got a big whiteboard to list the jobs and cross them off so I can see progress (and list the extra jobs as I find them!).

Hello and welcome to this most friendly and informative forum. You seem up for the challenge to give your van a new lease of life so a project of this nature will have it's just reward. Good luck.

Thank you both.

I've just printed the RTMR form off and will send it tonight.

It's my first Camper so I'll need all the advice out there!

Don't panic if you don't get an immediate response from Sue [membership secretary] her Dad is in hospital so she's under some pressure at the mo.
