Re: Never heard or seen one of these
My first post!! Although I did join 8 years ago & never posted
It is a big bus... but we love our Midas G.
There are only 2 of us now as our daughter has 'grown up' and moved out.
It's a great 'van for 2 - although some might say too big?
We bought it new in 2004 and have now done around 25,000 miles.
I've seen 4 or 5 and a few years ago emailed Auto-Sleeper's to find out how many were made.
The answer shocked me and was:
Thank you for your enquiry regarding the Midas range. We built a combined
total of 20 of the two models.
Regards

Auto Sleepers, Orchard Works, Willersey, Nr Broadway, Worcestershire, WR12 7QF
The 2 models were the Midas G (garage model) as shown in the link by Paulmold and the Midas EL (end lounge) as in CruizingComet's link.
Wish our graphics/stripes were as vibrant as those in Paulmold's link
Can anyone help with a source of replacement graphics?

Hi tikki
Surprised to hear they only made 20 models in total, wish more info like this was available to us on the forum.
By the way this site has only been going since Feb 2011 (just over a year) so you must be thinking of ASOC

If they only made 20 of these beasts in the form of midas g and midas el ,how many were badged as orian ? ,I know zappy has one and i have one ,the term as rare as hen's teeth comes to mind.
It may be of interest to some that i am in the throws of putting mine up for sale we no longer need a van as big.

Good question Wildmoss, as I think I have only seen the orian version or could have been a Vivanti version at a show.

Looking for graphics, try looking under signmakers or sign writers in your yellow pages it is suprising what these fellows can come up with, many can even match your existing ones.
