New tv and satellite dish Empty New tv and satellite dish

Post by stevebrookman Wed Aug 08, 2018 6:29 pm

Hello all,
Brought our new to us Cotswold home yesterday. It has a moveable satellite dish on the roof. The end of the cable is connected in a cupboard to a signal finder. I am going to buy a new tv for the van and the one I am looking at has a built in sat nav receiver.

It's this one

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cello-C22230F-Traveller-22-Inch-Traveller-Satellite/dp/B072MFM7YB/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1533749164&sr=8-3&keywords=caravan+tv

I am assuming I just need to connect the other end of the signal finder to the TV and then have the fun of finding the satellite.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Steve

Hi Owen, I have a fair idea of how all this should work.

Are you using the Freeview tuner (terrestrial TV with an aerial) or satellite receiver?
