Reversing Camera
Last weekend we lost the signal from the reversing camera in the Beckford and have no idea where it has gone or even where to look for it. Wires at the back of the screen look to be intact.
If I knew were to start I would go and find it and get it back
Any advise please as to how to get it back would be appreciated
Regards

Re: Reversing Camera
Much more information required please.
Make of camera, type of monitor, etc., and any other detail you can find.
Every little helps our expert members to give a meaningful suggestion.

Re: Reversing Camera
Not much more information to supply unfortunately. The Camera and the monitor is the one Autosleeper fit to the best of my information. The monitor is fitted over the rear vision mirror and doubles as a mirror when not reversing.the camera is a tiny unit mounted at high level on the black panel above the rear window in the Beckford.
The monitor now shows a blue screen with the words ‘signal lost’in red
Thank you for the response
Geoff

Re: Reversing Camera
There have been several posts regarding the apparently rubbish camera system fitted as standard. Unfortunately I don't know how to test whether the camera is at fault or the monitor.
Here is the latest thread....

Re: Reversing Camera
The camera on my 2016 Nuevo EK works fine when I select reverse.
There are occasions (when my wife follows me in the car) when I would like the rear view camera on permanently.
I have a remote control but it seems to do nothing, I have replaced the RCU battery still the same.
The rearview camera is as standard as fitted by AS
Any positive suggestions.
Terry

Re: Reversing Camera
If it is a Veba, point the remote at it whilst stationary or in forward gear, press the power button, sometimes more than once, and it should come on.
Others report that if you stop the engine whilst in reverse ie camera on, the camers eill be on when next start engine, doesn't work for mine though.
