Poor water flow.
I have a VW Topaz (2001) which I’m getting ready for holiday. After filling water tank I am attempting to fill the system . Pump seems to be operating ok but very poor supply. Manual says filter might be partially blocked and should be checked. Can anyone advise on where it is located and how to access it? If it is not this any other possible causes? Regards.

Re: Poor water flow.
It would help if you confirm what type of water pump it is Ziggy.
Probably a Shurflo - but it may have been changed?? Always good to have as much detail as possible for those with similar vans to work from.
Someone had a similar problem a week or two ago, and it turned out to be an air leak. The filter housing just needed tightening a bit. It was letting in air on the intake side so there wasn't a leak, but the pressure was reduced as a result of the air bleeding in.

Hiya - if you go to "Search" in the main forum menu (not the search box on the right) then select Advanced Search, put in "topaz water pump" and select "all items" it will find all the relevant previous threads that cover the subject.

And I had a similar problem, turned out to be the filter on the water outlet, I.E. the tap spout.
The filter was partially blocked by scale. Cleaned it and all tikityboo. Worth a look at?
