Hey All,
I seem to have inherited my Grandparent In Laws 1980 CF250 Autosleeper as a wedding present
I have already taxed and mot'd her but after 3 yrs sitting on the in laws drive I discovered the rad was blocked and temp gauge was broken when it blew it's head gasket on its way to the test centre, I have had the top end rebuilt, changed the water pump, belts, leisure battery and had the rad recored
So after a couple of trips away to Dartmoor she seems to be running ok but I think the brakes might be next on the list due to leaking wheel cylinders
She is in need of some serious TLC as the bonnet needs welding, cab painting, curtains replacing, cushions and cab seats recovering, leaks fixing in the front and back, water heater reparing and pump replacing so if anyone has any advice or recommendations on finding cheap upholsterers please let me know!
Well looks to be a fun year
James

Hi James
Welcome to the forum from Bridlington, Its a pea souper this morning, hope it clears later. I had a CF250, I think it was a Devon conversion.
I managed to find an old British gas van from a scrappy and used alot of the parts. Don't think theres many around these days.
Good luck with the van.
