Drive away awning for Nuevo ES
Hi all, can anybody suggest a suitable drive away awning for my Nuevo ES (2004 model) I have a Fiamma F45 porch awning fitted but I would like a standalone one, preferably inflatable.
If anyone has one I would be interested to hear from you.

Hi, there are several makes to choose from and in response to your request, I am looking at the Kampa sales brochure detailing the ' Motor Fiesta Air Pro 350. The diagram shows width 350 cm Depth 275 cm. Poled annex 180 cm Depth 220cm. We have the same but the static version for our van and very impressed with the quality and set up. www.Kampa.co.uk

Highly recommend Vango. We have kela lll , sturdy, easy to put up, easy to take down. Easy to driveaway.....needs a bit of skill re aligning it lol
It is howver heavy to transport, but I believe many of them are.
Sewn in ground sheet, can add a bedroom. Stood up well in all conditions.
Comes with different height joining sections. We have the tall one and also used it on our old bessacarr

Thanks for the info folks I’ll have a look at both, slight concern about sewn in groundsheet as some sites request that ground sheets and flaps be raised periodically is this easy to do with an inflatable awning ?

No sewn in ground sheet on ours, one of the reasons we chose it for when pitching on grass, you need a separate sheet that is breathable as demanded on many campsites. Same for the Motor Fiesta free standing version, weight 23kg. Regards

A word of warning before you commit - in our experience on an ES from 2005, space and weight need to be considered carefully. The ES is blessed with neither of these in abundance.

I endorse all that Lorfall has said. we originally had a Nuevo EK and bought the drivaway for that, it now fits our Winchcoombe. We are very pleased with it...spent 3 months this year in our van etc from January - April and it proved to be invaluable

I can vouch for the Vango Kela III on a Nuevo EK. Have just returned from 2 weeks in France and it has proved invaluable (plenty of zip-out options/flyscreens etc). The Nuevo tends to need the Tall variant of the awning (2.8m height)

We have a Vango Kela Tall and accessories for sale details can be sent if needed collected price is £300. However I would take note of Lorfals comment they are a bit bulky

Re: Drive away awning for Nuevo ES
Well we went down to Lowdham Caravans as they were hosting a exhibition by Kampa, we took a liking to the “Travel Pod Motion Air” the deal included a clip in groundsheet, an awning carpet and a footprint.
We took the M/H to a local site for a couple of nights to try the new awning out, it clipped into the Fiamma pretty easy and was no effort to inflate with the supplied pump and we were soon enjoying the extra space that the awning gave us.
We did not use the awning carpet as we were only out for two nights but what confuses me is the need for a footprint? It says on the label that the footprint will keep your groundsheet dry and clean. But the footprint is practically the same size as the groundsheet so in my opinion I am putting a groundsheet down to protect my groundsheet??
Am I missing something here ?, if anybody has one of these footprints can you tell me what the advantage is.
Thanks for all the previous replies folks.
