Windsor questions.
Hi,
I have just got a 2008 Ford Transit Windsor. Nice van but been stood a while, going in for service soon to sort a few bits but a couple of questions.
1) Is there a downloadable PDF instruction book ? I have looked on the A/S website and it only goes back to 2009 and doesn't list this one. Is there another model on a Peugeot base chassis with the same conversion as Windsor ?
2) There is a TV bracket in the front left hand side sort of above and behind where the passengers head would be. It looks like something is missing from the bracket, if this is factory fit which it looks like it is does anyone have a picture of there's so I can see what is missing.
Thanks David.

Hi David
Please take a moment to introduce yourself here.

The missing bit of the TV bracket may well be the quick release part which fixes to the back of the TV. This might give you a clue.

Re: Windsor questions.
If you need the Transit book I found this on another forum from someone asking about an Eton handbook. Ford dealer will be able to order it.
Windsor was registered july/08. Handbook is:-
copyright Ford motor Company 2007, Part No.8C1J-19A321-DA (CG3527en) 06/2007 20070727105346. The Bar code on the back cover reads 8C1J-19A321-DA 06/07. The Ford Transit Owners Handbook refered to above has 218 pages
Sorry can't help with the AS book. Roli had a Windsor, maybe he can help.

Re: Windsor questions.
Hi astonchap.
I've got an 09 plate Windsor, and have the owner's manual. Not sure if I could copy the whole thing to here but anything in particular that you're looking for, apart from the above?
Regards
Dave

Re: Windsor questions.
Hi we had a 2008 Mk7 Windsor for 8 years and the TV bracket and aerial socket were extras. Still have the one I took out of ours when it went.
There was a 2008 leaflet in Factsheets that detailing the Windsor if it was one that lost I still have orginal and could put it back
Transit wise you will find the Transit Forum a good source of info. Ask and either Dave or I will try and answer anything AS related. We do have a few Windsor owners on here.
Be a co-incidence if it was our van (the one before it has popped up for sale on Fun this week)

Re: Windsor questions.
Hey up Sithee,
Long story but sadly my Sandhurst has gone and we bought a VW California. BIG MISTAKE! She who must be obeyed hated it, no hot water, no bathroom/toilet/shower, no room. So, we sold that a few weeks ago.
Being as I'm going to be 75 this year I thought we'll give up this motor homing lark, after all practically fifty years of doing it I've had a good innings.
Today we've bought ourselves a 2007 Aoto-Sleeper WINDSOR, with the push button automatic gearbox.
I've no idea as to the dimensions so if someone could possibly let me know what they are I'd be more than grateful as I've no idea if it will fit down my drive.
Another thing, being the honest folks you are, should there be anything for us to be aware of as our last Ford based was a 1995 Duetto and would like to address any common undesired traits on the WINDSOR before we scoot off to Spain in March.
Thanks for reading, time for a brew.
David.
