Hi, is it possible to reduce the temp of the hot water or do I have to rely on the  mixer tap?

Hi Tony,
We have a 2003 Symbol with a Truma Ultrastore water heater.  With ours it is possible to set the hot water temperature with the thermostat when operating on gas. However, when using mains hook up the temperature is fixed at 70 degrees C.

It's very likely to be the same unit as fitted to mine.
There is no temperature adjustment, so yes, use the mixer taps.

Depends what make of water heater is fitted. Going by the year, it could be either a Carver or Truma. Carver not adjustable, Truma can be adjusted on gas but not electric (see earlier response).
