spare wheel
I recently had my 25 year old ford duetto serviced and the chain link and the holder of the spare tyre were totally rusted and had to be removed. I am trying to find a second hand replacement, any ideas please?

Re: spare wheel
There have been a couple of threads here before on the problem, and possible solutions - if you do a forum search you should find them.
When the subject last came up, the raising/lowering assemblies could be found on Ebay - some secondhand (which would probably be a bit of a gamble) and also IIRC some were being sold new as replacement parts, though I think they were pretty expensive!
