Teleco aerial
We have a problem with our multi directional aerial, which has flipped over sitting half way between the vertical and horizontal. Reading the instructions suggest simply turning the shaft in the wardrobe, moves the aerial between vertical and horizontal. That doesn’t happen, as turning the shaft simply rotates the whole aerial through 360 degrees, but doesn’t alter the horizontal / vertical plane ? Not sure I’m missing something here, or of someone else has come across this issue ?
It’s a Teleco Teleplus X2/39

Re: Teleco aerial
Not sure if I remember correctly, because we never us the tv, but I wonder if the ariel's pole or shaft has to be extended (pushed up) before the angle of the flat plate can be adjusted?

That's right Cymro, you need to undo the locking ring at the top before pushing the aerial up (not completely as you need some space to adjust it from vertical to horizontal). Re tighten the locking ring and the V-H adjustment is done by turning the lower part of the shaft as shown in the diagram.

Thanks both. That sorted it.

Re: Teleco aerial
Good One of the things that bugged us (well me) about the aerial was getting it back into the recommended travelling position, down and facing forward, before moving off each time. I fixed that by putting a red dot on the rear of the shaft so, if it has been rotated, I can drop it back into position without having to go out to check the alignment.

Good idea on putting a marker on the shaft. I’ll do that. Thanks again.
