Forum Donations
I've just processed several sticker orders along with some donations which are greatly appreciated, especially at this time of the year as we have a number of domain renewals and redirection services, as well as additional services we have via our hosts that fall due equaling roughly £300 plus in the month of March alone.
We are very lucky and privileged to have members who regularly contribute towards our costs via donations. As you will know I hate the idea of promoting or requesting donations as it's purely voluntary and no member should feel any pressure to feel obliged, but if anyone has been considering donating a small amount or wishing to purchase a windscreen sticker and is in a position to do so its greatly appreciated, every little helps as they say.
Here is a link to our donation & sticker web page: http://www.autosleeperforum.co.uk/page3.htm
Thank You again everyone for your continued support financially and by your continued input and activity on the forum.
Regards
Ed

I have tried to donate every which way - admittedly I don't have a PP account - but still get the refer to merchant notice!

Yes, it worked Paul!Paulmold wrote:Can you try a different browser?
It was obviously my normal browser that was causing the issue so I tried another browser today and it was a success.
Donation made.

Good. Don't understand why things like that happen.

Re: Forum Donations
Thank you everyone for your generosity its helped us out a great deal.
We are very privileged to have such supportive members.
Donators list has been updated and sticker orders are in the post, apologies for the delay after a few days absence from the forum.
If you have donated and I've left you off the list do let me know so I can rectify this. Also, one or two donations I've not been able to tie up with a forum username so have used either personal names or part of email addresses, if you wish to correct this do let me know?
Thanks Again
Ed.

Private message
Hi,
I only joined the Forum today and tried to send a private message to someone who is looking to purchase the same model as we own (Northants) to give them our opinion and experiences of the vehicle. I was asked to contact the administrator because I was prevented from sending a PM since I had 'not reached the limit of posts' (or some similar wording) which I didn't understand. Can you please help.
Many thanks
baggie

Re: Forum Donations
Baggie: I believe that Forum members must make at least 5 posts before it's possible to use the pm facility. Your tally at the moment is 1, but no doubt that'll soon change! Incidentally, I think that several posts to the same thread (topic) only count as 1, but I'm sure a Moderator will confirm or correct that.
And, by the way, Welcome to the Forum!

Re: Forum Donations
You need a few posts (I think it 5) before you can use the PM system. So do an introduction post in the 'Welcome' section and answer the 'for sale' post you're trying to respond to . If anyone answers your intro then post a 'thanks' and you may have enough to PM.

Please be patient and you will get your red sticker soon.
In the meantime if you want to use the PM service, I suggest you take the advice already given and make a few more posts.
