Arctic weather
Just wondering what people are thinking about the "cold snap". We are newbies with the Neuvo and had a fantastic weekend i the Lakes last weened to try it out. Got back home to snow flurries on Monday and hopefully emptied the water tanks ok but am a bit worried because of subsequent extreme temperatures. Any hints on the best way to test things to see if I have destroyed the water sytem! Fingers crossed I havent but am a bit concerned.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Arctic weather
Well, once the temperatures have warmed up a bit (above zero for both day and night) and assuming you've either got water in your freshwater tank or you top it up after having drained it, then simply switch on the water pump to prime the system and see what happens.
Hopefully all will be well and you'll function as normal.
Have a good look in and underneath the cupboards and seats and shower room , where you know there are pipes and inspect to make sure all is dry.
Also have a look underneath the van and check around the fresh and waste tanks to make sure they've survived OK.

Thanks for that. I will do what you say, albeit with some trepidation. We have had a campervan previously and that didnt have all the bells and whistles so not as much to worry about. Fingers crossed.

If using smilies, hit space bar couple of times between last word and smilies. Our Tilly wrote:Ta:up!:

Just keep an ear open to check the pump isn't clicking on and off occasionally when there are no taps open. Amongst other things this can indicate any small leaks on the pressure side.
